Safety

Precision NDE. management, directors, supervisors and employees are committed to customer service excellence while maintaining a safe work environment.  We all believe in a zero incident work environment through the implementation of a company wide safety culture based on teamwork, safety leadership, regular safety training and improved safety procedures.

1. Leadership and Personal Commitment -  Precision NDE regularly promotes a safe workplace by demonstrating visible safety leadership in the field, interacting positively with personnel and coaching them on good safety behavior.
2. Training and Competence - Precision NDE ensures through continues in house and external training that every employee has the adequate skills and knowledge to perform their job safety.
3. Health and Wellness - Precision NDE encourages a clean work environment, hazard risk analysis, the use of engineered controls to prevent incidents, fatigue management, travel safety, the use of PPE when required, and overall health and wellness of its personnel and those around them.  All our field personnel must at the minimum have a valid H2S, First Aid, T.D.G., Confined Space Entry, Petroleum Safety Training (P.S.T.)  and WHIMS tickets.
4. Contractor Controls - Contractors with Precision NDE must meet or exceed our safety standards and their safety record is an important factor in our contractor selection.
5. Incident Reporting and Investigation - All incidents including near miss are investigated to determine their root cause and prevent future incidents.

Precision NDE has an extensive HSE management program and is a member of ISNetworld. Our managing business director took and passed the Safety Program Development course with ENForm and is committed to improve the company's safety program. Precision NDE’s HSE program include standards for Respiratory Protective Equipment, Scaffolding and Temporary Work Platform, Working Alone, Vehicle and Driving, Personal Protective Equipment, Personal Hazard Identification, Manual Handling, Housekeeping, First Aid, Fatigue Management and Fire Risk Management, to name a few.
